Great pack July 21, 2008 M. Guerrini 24 out of 24 found this review helpful
I was looking for a waist pack to use when I walk on the Breast Cancer 3-day 60 mile walk in September. I had another pack that I bought years ago and never used, but when training with it it didn't fit right. I wasn't sure about ordering a pack on line with out trying it on, but this one got pretty good reviews and it held two water bottles (which I wanted) and it wasn't too big but not to small.
This is a great pack so far. I've used it on numerous training walks, anywhere from 3 miles to 18 miles. It is very comfy and can be cinched up to ride very snugly on your lower back.
The two pockets work good. The bigger one actually holds quite a bit. I use if for first aid kit, snacks, even a light weight jacket and sometimes an extra water bottle on the longer walks. The smaller front pocket holds my cell phone, money, small digital camera. The water bottles that come with it are good. I needed a bigger one for longer walks so I bought some Kleen Kanteens (the 27 ounce size) and they fit in there fine. The holders will not take anything wider than that.
The handle is a very comfortable handle if you have to carry it in your hand. Much more padded than some I've seen.
I got the orange pack and it is a pretty good orange. It's orange but not real bright and look very good actually - better than I thought it would be.
I use the little loops on the back for some little caribiners with chap stick, sun screen.
An all round great waist pack.
Durable, versatile, and stylish October 18, 2007 zoedragon (Los Angeles, CA) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I hate carrying purses, but I always have a lot of junk to carry around, so I really do need one. I've found that waist packs make wonderful purses, provided you find the right one. Thus far this one is my favorite. I got the "Chipotle" colored one, which is a pleasant shade of orange. The lines, colors and embellishments make it look really stylish, but even better is its versatililty. It comes with 2 water bottles, but I use the side pockets for my phone, shopping lists, and other quick-deposit items instead. Inside is very roomy with two zipper compartments. I would have liked to have a pen holster somewhere inside, but that's minor. The padded handle makes it very comfortable to carry around, and it's even more convenient and comfortable to just strap it around your waist. Unless I have the water bottles filled and holstered, I don't even notice it's there. The pack is extremely comfortable to wear.
It is kind of big, however, which makes it slightly trickier to squeeze past people, but at least I'm never short on space when I need to throw in something extra. I love this bag.
ridgeline lumbar pack November 1, 2008 Jakir Malik (Queens, NY USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really like the lumbar pack. I purchased it to carry my flip video, a digital camera and my wallet. It is so roomy. It also comes with two water bottles. The lumbar pack is very sturdy. There is plenty of room to add other stuff in it. I definitely recommend this pouch.
Great Pack March 8, 2009 Cindy Luetter (Alabama) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a very comfortable pack. Holds quite a bit more than expected. The large main compartment opens up for easy access to packed items. It's perfect for day hikes. I strapped a sleeping bag to the top of it and used it for an overnight pack. The water bottles are only 16oz. so I used 20 oz soda bottles and they worked fine with the pack.

Just the right size for lunch, medical pack, and extras. 2 water bottles are a plus.
